Some years ago Freo made the decision to be less open with the media and they've hated it, presumably as it made their jobs harder.
So this is what we see now. The same question asked time and time again, should JLo waiver in his answers, "Mixed Messages Over Hogan's Future". If Hogan has some form of reaction, there's a different story.
In the meantime many punters are all "There's something up at Freo with Hogan and the club is in denial about it ... but obviously the media have the inside word".
There's a huge difference between reporting the news and trying to manufacture some.
One company in this state is being particularly parasitical in their approach and inconsistent with their targets and the best way to deal with that is ignore them into irrelevance. Note this week's fluff pieces about players having to do their own laundry whilst in the hub ... heavens above ...
Don't engage, lower the ratings and circulation, diminish their revenue, limit their influence.
