If you looked at Tabs’ stats - he had 14 touches, 7 marks and 2.0 - and you’d think ‘that was a pretty handy outing’, but it doesn’t really capture all that much about his performance.

I’m not sure if we’re judging him too harshly based on the clangers, but geez he leaves a lot on the table.

I like the way Longmuir threw Fredericks into the contest in the last quarter, and players were using him.

Good to have confidence in the younger players instead of waiting until they invite you to their wedding before you'll give them some responsibility.

Yeah tabs had a brain fade but he was still one of our best on ground. I think we’re lucky cox came in for this one otherwise it would have been worse with their tall forward line.
Too many went missing today, I thought Mundy was a bit down, Acres, tucker, Serong, collyer, banfield and schultz hardly got near it.
Fredericks looked promising, I think he needs to stay in to give him some confidence.
Do we have any spare young talls? Whats happening with Dixon, meek and o‘reilly?

Watson can play. It’s hard to gauge form without the Peel team for these guys to play in but I watched him at swans for a couple of seasons and he can take a grab.

Cox has played 27 games, has come back from injury, is a young backman and the ball is coming into Kennedy like a ball down a show clowns neck.....nice work bagging him.

Cox may have made some mistakes but he wasn’t the Lone Ranger.

I must have been watching another game, without Taberner taking some bigs marks around the ground we would’ve got smashed. Sean Darcy took one mark and Naitanui none, sfa, zilch.

Beaten by 5 goals with so many of our key players out, we’ll be ok when we get more games into the younger ones.

Time to start looking at the future, I know it's tough, but there's a few old soldiers standing in the way of the next generation. Longmuir has made a good start with giving the young ones a shot, but with another season just about over, let's plan for 2023 when we've got a solid cohort all in that 40-70 game range.
