The AFL are Pr!cks. We could finally had a home game and got something for our membership but they fixture a Monday night game. Could have easily put someone else on the Monday night and given us the Sunday pm slot.

What concerns my is the line about rounds 9 to 12 being condensed into a 3 week period, how does that work if we play round 8 on the Monday night? Back to back 5 day breaks is the answer. They needed to quell our home ground advantage some how, this looks like the hand they intend to deal to us.

Don’t worry Mushroom. By my reckoning we’ll play a Saturday game on 1/8, then a Thursday night game on 6/8, then a Tuesday night game on 11/8 then a Sunday game on 16/8, you get your Saturday game! And a whole lot more days of the week to boot.

My guess is that the interstate teams have to self-quarantine for at least 14 days before they can play a Western Australian team, and that given the Cats only landed here on the weekend, they would have probably been tested last Sunday, and have to be symptom-free for 14 days to be able to play.
