What would it take for this bloke to get going & be the strong imposing player we’d hope he would be?

Lazy..never a second effort...tries to run around the bloke on the mark and loses possessions..again..
Yes the stats are OK but 2 very gettable chances go missing because he was thinkin about his hair...just watch Bris players gettin into him...they know he’s as soft as butter. Needs to take some toughen up pills!

He made some mistakes but particularly early causes more issues than any of our other forwards.
I like Tabs more than some others but his ability to miss sitters needs to be addressed.
I hope his turnover further up the ground doesn’t stop him trying to be creative.

On a side note, loved Lewis's very informative comment that Taberner did well to kick a 40 meter goal on his non-preferred left foot. The Brisbane-centric commentary was personified in this comment.

Also - his first goal was a snap on his non preferred
right.

Yeah Dave, maybe Lewis is one of those fellas who gives it some thought before he offers an opinion.

Tabs is not the problem. The lack of tall support is the issue. Tabs currently attracts the oppositions best defender and is our only marking option unless we run Fyfe up forward. Tabs still managed two goal (should have been three). If he keeps that up he is a 50 goal forward - I’d be happy with that.

Having two non-preferred feet was clearly a problem for Tabs. I wonder if the medical department moved in quickly to fix that issue and he is now in the rehabilitation phase of the treatment. The way things are going, poor old Tabs will end up with an Isaiah Butters transplant sometime in the next couple of years.

Tragic, keep the medics away from him from now on. He is doing much better fitness wise with 2 non-preferred feet than those like Pearce & Hamling who have a preferred foot and are under our medics supervision.
