Well whenever FDFC publish their membership plans, for the benefit of comparison, here’s a wrap on what SYDNEY SWANS members got yesterday…
i) Pay the full 2020 fee for no live footy, but if the government changes its mind, you get your seat back and a commemorative pin.
ii) Pay 60% for no live footy, but if the government changes its mind, you get your seat back and a slightly less flashy commemorative pin.
iii) Pay 25% for no live footy, but if the government changes its mind, you have to pay extra to get your seat back and you get no commemorative pin.
iv) Or there’s a 2020 refund, less "fees and charges to cover costs of benefits already received”.
So options i) to iii) effectively means I pay either $530, $318 or $132.50 for a cap, keyring and an out of date magnetic 2020 fixture that came in the mail in February.

Here’s the punch to the goolies on the refund, though.. If you go option iv), they cancel your membership and renewal options completely.
