Serong is one I'm not as big a fan of. He has proven talent but I don't see as much scope for improvement as I do in others. Then again, Lachie Neale had the same criticism before being drafted as a smaller clearance player and he did well.
Serong reminds me of a Taylor Adams, a smaller bodied mid who loves getting in and under, delivering the ball out to teammates. However his kicking is very good on the outside so he can move both in and out as a midfielder as well as push forward and have an impact.
He's someone who could come straight into the side as a half forward as he's pretty physically developed and strong bodied for someone his height. I'd play him ahead of most of our other small forwards in Rd 1 except Sonny who's a midfielder these days.
