Yeah...I've got some concerns with that scenario Sox.

None of the afore mentioned seem to have long term structural injury problems, and all look like competent "experienced" young footballers to me....

Concerns me greatly that none of them seem have come from another sport actually.....

Seems completely "against the grain" Docker recruitment strategy, if the past few years have been anything to go by.

Its a bit too "outside the square" thinking , for my liking....

I'm assuming Rivers and Sharp are gone by the time we pick Taylor. I'd be over the moon to get those guys with our first 3 picks. Their exciting talent and they would be at least 150 gamers, barring injury. I''m still not sure Jackson will survive to pick 7 and I think Melbourne will put in an early bid for Henry to draw out our pick 7 early anyway.

Yeah that would be a bad draft for us as we basically lose our pick 10 matching the bid for Henry. Obviously we'll have a plan on the day for an early Henry bid so we can maintain a pick later in the draft, hopefully early second round. They also just picked on a needs basis rather than a phantom draft of who they think clubs will be interested in so it's not particularly representative of how things will go on the day.

I don't have Taylor that high in my list so I would be a bit disappointed if we grabbed him at the start of the second round. I'd much prefer a Rivers or Sharp along with a number of Eastern states boys but we'll see who's available at that pick.

If Melbourne are going to pick Henry at 3 in an attempt to draw out our pick 7 then let them have him. If he wasn't in our NGA and was from, say Adelaide, then no way in the world would he be rated that high in here. In fact we probably wouldn't even be talking about him.

You really haven't watched much of his highlight reel have you Matebe? He's one of the most exciting prospects who we've had the opportunity of getting into the purple and if he wasn't West Australian they would probably be rating him top 3 in the draft. Alongside Jackson he is our top priority and a failure to getting him could see Peter Bell's spot at the draft table in jeopardy.

If only Simpson was 6 or so years younger. Henry is worth a top 3 pick, and if we have to use pick 7 on him we do so without hesitation. If this was being discussed 2 years ago, I would say naah let him go, we can't be that cruel to the young fella.

Why does Melbourne seem hell bent on stuffing up Freo, we didn't drive a hard bargain on Ed Langdon, in fact they got a bargain.

Maybe we should remind them next time they have an Academy player that's as exiting as Henry two can play this game. I can understand why Sydney would bid on Green because they are the home town arch enemy.
