I'm not commenting on the Rioli circumstances, as there seems to be a lot to be played out in that regard.
I'm commenting on what I heard from Hagdorn in breaking the news. In terms of the timeline, as a newsbreaker, Hagdorn basically 'heard' around the same time as a bunch of twitter feeds that I saw this afternoon, providing some details about what was to be released. Then, in providing his 'expert' speculation, it turns out he was pretty much wrong in bringing up 'illicit drugs' or masking some kind of performance enhancing drug relating to injury or rehab. What has been released by the AFL is information about something related to urine, something that Hagdorn didn't specifically bring up.
All I'm saying is that Hagdorn doesn't have any direct line to any precious information in this regard, on this topic, and gathered information from sources that had already 'broken' the story, then shamefully adding his own special sauce speculation.
