Yes it seems a strange decision, never given a good go at it really. You get the feeling he will go well somewhere else. Maybe he wanted to go as not given enough of a chance with us, that seems the most logical thing to me. Why else would the club get rid of him? We seems to need the small to medium lock down defender type. Who else do we have in this role, Ryan, Hughes? So does this mean Watson is better than him?
Jones was always only going to be a short term prospect. Why didn't we hang onto Zac Clarke instead? We will be looking for another ruck. I hope Meek can make something of himself.
