There are only 2 sets of circumstances where I would consider taking Kelly, remembering his attitude so far to playing in the Purple. Either we're down to last couple of hours Weagles haven't done a deal, Geelong realise they're going to lose him for nothing and take our pick 7 for him, leaving us with pick 6 we get from Saints for Hill and all our other picks OR we get him for nothing in the preseason draft.
He is not worth 3 of the top 20 draft picks this season and Liam Henry has shown the potential to be at least as good as Kelly.

Look at it this way. S. Hill will take one wing spot when he gets back, and he’s a much better ball user than both Brad and Ed. The other wing spot can be easily filled by the plethora of mids we have at our disposal. Imagine our trade haul with picks 6&7. Besides it’ll put a big smile on my face when we beat the Slime and Kelly. And we can all yell in unison “Suck Sh*t, Kelly”.

1.Kelly will be a heavily tagged player at WC (if he gets there) since they don't have a Dangerfield or T. Selwood to cover.
2. Play S.Hill off the HBF. Backline: Ryan, Hamling, Logue, Wilson, Pearce, S. Hill (with Hughes off the bench).
3. Get Kamdyn Mcintosh from the Tigers to replace Langdon.

I don’t understand how Geelong can demand 2x first round picks for Kelly, if a deal isn’t done doesn’t he go into the PSD or become a delisted free agent?
On the other hand I also don’t understand how the saints think they can squeeze us and try to get something back if they include pick six for Hill, he has two years left on his contract so we can do what Geelong did last year with Kelly and say, sorry brad but you’re staying put for at least another year.

I think it's fair - the Slime can cough up their top two picks this year for a first round number and agree to give Geelong their top draft picks for next year and the year after. I would add on another year to that - for the OOFTITS that seems about right, the more the merrier.
