Powell-Pepper reportedly being offered up. Big bodied midfielder with explosive pace. He would add real hardness and I suspect some protection for Nat Fyfe. Yeah his disposal is a bit suss but he could work on that with everyone else down at Freo.

I would be happy to offload Cox for Powell-Pepper purely on a needs basis if he is ok off the field

Okay, according to someone else, who I've forgotten when we were discussing the good young ruck prospect in Goddard, he'd been told that Fremantle were happy with their ruck stocks.
Goddard outplayed Jones and Meek when the sides met with more hit outs and disposals and had 51 hit outs in the last WAFL game against SD. Polly might be able to shed some light on the Black Duck ruckmen, but whatever way you look at it that's Sandi like stats.
Ruckmen don't usually go early in the draft, so I'd be keen to get him, as he's already out performed our two "emerging" ruckmen.

Jones is averaging 8 touches a game at Peel and Meek 13. Both have been on the list for a couple of years but are hardly dominating the wafl. Darcy looks good but is injury prone, so there is every chance Jones or Meek could be called on to play a fair bit of afl footy next year. Fremantle need to delist one, or both, of them and find a ruckman ready to go to back up Darcy.

Jones will be delisted , too slow not good enough, I can't understand how he even got drafted.

He got drafted because he had previously been in ‘the system’, ie was in the state teams as a junior, got injured during draft year, got uninjured a year or two later, and was then drafted for no other reason i can see than Fremantle recruiting staff presumed he must be a good player. I just don’t think anyone watched him play.

I'm just happy no one has ever jumped on me for misspelling Biscuit all those years ago. Thank god there was a band who had the same trouble as me.

As for Powell-Pepper, I wouldn't go anywhere near a trade between Cox and SPP. Cox is far more valuable as a 20yo KPF who has actually had an impact in games. That's not even taking into account how I rate Powell-Pepper who has struggled to get a kick outside of his first year and when he has, kicked it to the opposition. If Port want to get rid of him, I wouldn't be putting up much of an offer. We do already have inside clearance midfielders and are in need of more highly skilled outside runners atm so he doesn't really fit our needs either.
Nathan: When did you get balls?
Simon: I've always had balls you've just never seen them.
Nathan: That's the gayest thing I've ever heard.

I hoping the club takes Luke Jackson with our first pick and Elijah Taylor with our 2nd.

I love how you always go into bat for our players Biz but Cox is a slow forward who puts on minimal pressure. Probably won't get a game if we are all fit and available.

Cox and McCarthy have both not yet understood the idea that tackling and pressure are important...maybe a new coaching structure might fix that fundamental issue. Pretty simple I would think. Don't pressure or chase then you keep playing in Mandurah every second week.

Yep, I'm usually in agreement with Biz, but not with regards to Cox.

I think our best team is Tabs and Hogan forward with Lobb in the ruck and the rest small or medium forwards that put on pressure. Players like Switkowski, Walters and Liam Henry, maybe even Sam Sturt if he comes on a bit.
