Fremantle and Lyon was an unusual one because there was a bit of skulduggery involved which most people and clubs are above. I'm not sure we'll be poaching anyone this time around.

Some may be fearful that success may not come from a beheading - I'm just so bloody pleased that there isnt a guarenteed season of excuse ridden downright drudgery standing in for footy. Even better, there is no chance that some fool at Dooker Control is going to get a 3-5 year carte blanche extension.

I'm glad Ross Lyon has gone and I'm thrilled that Steve Rosich has gone. I doubted the club would have the guts to make the call and I'm pleased they have.

That said, what I have seen of Ross facing the press shortly after being booted and what he had to say I thought was pretty classy. He handled himself well, obviously holding the emotion in when speaking of the impact on his wife and children. He accepted the decision graciously and wished Fremantle well. I respect him for that.
