I still think that's the first bad whack he's copped from the Perth media. Asking questions about a poorly performing coach is not out of line and most of them have tiptoed around his feelings for 4 years.

If you think about what Brad Scott got leading up to his demise and compare that to Lyon, who is being talked about so glowingly that they think 3 clubs are chasing him, it's nothing

The legitimate media are pretty sweet on him in general and then he goes and blows up at them with his nonsense about agendas and making assumptions that he wants to keep coaching.

He acted childishly and the other children decided to tease him for it. Two wrongs don't make a right but he's highly regarded for his media acumen, maybe he should call on some for the rest of the season.

The media is not just the West, its the twitter feeds that have more followers than readers, its talkback radio.

I honestly have no idea the words Lyon should choose to make this go away.

His employer stupidly gave him a five year deal and 80% of the way through that deal he's got an approx. 30% win record.

His employer can't sell a contract extension to the members and the industry in general at this point and want to wait as late as possible to re-negotiate.

There are jobs going back in his home town now.

It's like the media want a sacking or an appointment and are going to give the club hell to they get it.

Surely football coaches don't get upset with talk back radio. How do they even hear it? How does anyone hear it. And Twitter? He's not on bloody Twitter.

All he has to say is what he's been saying "I'm fully committed to Fremantle and I intend to be here next year." Even if it's a lie. I'm sure it's frustrating and annoying but everyone's job is like that. Suck it up and ride it out.

He thought it was funny when he was hanging about Carlton. He thought he was clever when he jumped ship from St Kilda. That's invited these clowns to speculate without any boundaries and they'll keep doing it until all the jobs are fillled, just like we'll keep speculating. I haven't seen anything personal about him being said, until the paper today, just speculation on his employment. It is constantly happening to players and no one bats an eyelid.

He's a professional, he should act professionally.

We've see how he behaves when he stops acting professionally. He's rattled. The jig is up.

I think Hypen is close to something. He and Rosich are both stonewalling the 'results' questions. Both are buying time. Rosich is probably more concerned about losing premium sponsors than he is members.

According to the ABC website:

Freo are now a regular bottom-of-the-ladder club. Of the other bottom four clubs, only Brisbane can be said to have pulled themselves up. Carlton may be getting there.

In the end, it's going to be results that make the decision.
