How we won. Sydney turned the ball over late in the last quarter just after we turned the ball over. We definitely didn't win it by Brayshaw's kick to a leading forward in the last 10 seconds.

If you think Hodor is slow, I had four free Big Macs today and I can barely walk.

At least Brayshaw kicked it to where the forward should have been. It was only because the Swans realized they needed everyone forward to try and score that there was not 3 Swans defenders back their to mark it and go forward unopposed again.

I was being a little facetious RM. I have no way of knowing who cast that vote but we bend the facts to suit whichever narrative we have decided upon. I like another poster find it hard to understand how Hamling didn’t rate a mention.
Personally my money would be on Lyon casting that vote based upon my viewing of the game. Darcy must have had a particular role to play, and only Lyon would have the knowledge of what that role was.

Still etched in my memory is Lobb sprinting along with one arm hanging limp, obviously in considerable pain, then tackling the Sydney player with one arm, thus giving Brayshaw time to do his thing. It was a matchwinner and about equal with Logue's incredible effort in the second quarter. An example of our outstanding effort in the complete absence of system or game plan. Of course in a close finish, effort is primary.

Or, Longmire thought he did give McClean and Aliir a touch up. I think Lyon would be more likely to have given his votes to Conca, given the vested interest.

Good point, RM.

Aliir Aliir was very influential on the game, especially when Sydney were dominant and somehow not worth a single vote?

I love Hodor - he gives effort no doubt, and for a youngster he’s a pretty good tap ruckman.

In open play though, he’s a tugboat surrounded by jet skis.

Do Big Macs swell up inside you? A scientific question that may prevent an exploding midfield - just asking for a mate.

God knows what Big Macs can do.

Apparently, there are so many preservatives in a Big Mac that they can last basically intact for over a decade without mould or decay.
