Does this mean we win in Tassie? Isn't that how it goes?

It’s the next morning, and I’m still numb with shock. One lousy point in 46 minutes of football on a perfect night. Who ARE these jokers?

(At least Mark Duffield’s still on the programme with a regurgitation of the “Freo Are Crap” template for this morning’s West).

Well he's not wrong if we couldn't score more than two goals against those clowns.

A comment was made at three quarter time that Simpson had hands in pockets and letting the players talk amongst themselves. While Buck's was excited and spraying towards his players and it reflected how they finished the game.
Simpson comment last year that " The players coach themselves really " was another school yard arrogant kid.
Simpson comment in this mornings paper of " They wanted to win more" is his fault.

About 90 times more than the eagles last opponents (Mind you their coach was having his power nap at the time.).

Look at how west coast are bringing Allen and Cameron along and compare it with how Fremantle are developing players like Darcy. Cameron was a reserves/colts player at swan districts last year and when given a game in league looked out of his depth. Surround him with very good players in the afl (and the oppositions weakest defender) and he looks a world beater. Same as Allen, who looks ready to go already and will take over from Kennedy or Darling eventually. In contrast, Fremantle just tell Darcy he has to lead the ruck, despite not being ready and because the two other ruckmen on the list are not good enough, despite being older. To some degree the same applies to Cerra and Brayshaw who in an ideal world would be playing more wafl footy at the moment because the midfield strength is holding them out.
Outside the top 20 or so players Fremantle’s list is exceptionally poor. West coast have a number of players dominating at wafl level that can’t get a look in.

Anyway I am not really sure what the point of this post is but I reckon Fremantle should target Waterman in the off season.

Simpson and Malthouse on the radio talking about the coaching moves during the game, is a world away from our coach slipping in glib wisecracks at presser, and giving zero insight into Freo's coaching moves and game plan.
Lack of communication from the club might present a small target but sustained defensiveness feels like mediocrity.
