TOPIC: Sack the coach

It's contagious. FIrst Fyfe, now Bell repeating the well-worn slick one-liners: "It's never as bad as it looks and it's never as good as it looks" and in between Barlow getting behind the coach.
All, sucked in by propaganda. How does Ross do it?

It's even better than that, CaptSnooze.

Belly also went down the 'we'll review what happened, learn from that and move on to next week'

By 'learn from that' he means, we will change nothing and lose again next week by making the same mistakes we've been making for the last four seasons.

History has demonstrated beyond argument that learning is something that does not happen at Freo but you can see now why Bell got the job. It wasn't because of his experience as a football manager but because he can toe the company line in spite of the train wreck he's helped to engineer.

What a weak as **** interview as well. Nothing is going to change if that's the level of scrutiny.

Serious pressure is building.

Hawks, Swans, Dogs and Cats coming up.

You would have to be optimistic to say we will win any of these games which will leave us at 7-12 and as low as 15th or 16th on the ladder.

I too heard PBell and was disgusted at the same dribble being dished out again. There was no mention of the lead-up losses to Melbourne and Carlton as the proverbial alarms that no one in the coaching department seemed to take notice. The Saturday debacle was not an aberration it’s happened before.
Review, learn and move forward is the mantra and we’ve heard it numerous times. But the moving forward is not happening. The players are not playing with confidence and the hierarchy seems to be without the answers.

I think they need to stay in the moment... and hope the Eagles don't get the next ball...

I think the financial situation with Ross'contract may be an issue for Belly so it may be a case of giving him enough rope and if things don't improve he may be willing to walk away. Interesting on Footy talk shows tonight that Ross still being talked up as a possible option for Melbourne clubs if his contract not extended by us.

I keep thinking about that photo (which would be good on a dartboard) and seiously what an arrogant ***** he is.
And if ever there was a picture of a player showing his lack of respect for a coach, then Darcy Tucker is it.. He's now gone up in my estimation.
Can you imagine if one of the players did that? In fact , I wish they had. All those on the bench, join him in a big ****** yawn.

Bell's comments on 6-Pee-Arrgh only reinforce my belief that change won't come from club management; they're still buying into the Ross Lyon scam, and now in too deep to pull out.

But - the photo that Shane posted, the "wish I was somewhere else" attitude from Ed Langdon and that stare from Darcy Tucker, makes me believe that, even if he's still got Rosich, Bell and Co fooled, the playing group have seen right through the BS and aren't buying into it anymore.

If they have looked at and are worried about the financial implications of booting lyon & co, maybe they should also look at the financial implications of not kicking them out the door. That is starting to look like a huge financial disaster for the club.

It seems the lack of kicking skills has even crept in to the boardroom if they can't kick out such an obviously underperforming group.

Speaking of THAT photo CA. As much as Darcy T’s look is of interest, Ed Langdon’s seems to be channeling The Thinker as he contemplates living in Victoria.

As for RoLy’s yawn, his lack of emotion in the box throughout the year seems at odds with his usual demeanour. Im not sure what is going on there but it would be nice to see some outbursts to register his concerns during a game like last weekend.

I remember Sanderson being ousted at Adelaide when doing a much better job than the Loss and it was the players that initiated that.
Come on you guys......please for the sake of your fans.
