Agreed, Shane. Weagles won against Hawks in a close match even though they didn't play well. But they still got the four points and that's the main thing. I hate them as much as anyone, but they are setting up their finals run nicely.

With Teague all but being ruled out for Carlton by Judd and Brad Lloyd being listed on the selection panel, depending on how Lloyd and Lyon related to each other at Freo this would likely influence whether Lyon would apply or had a chance of winning the job.

For someone that hasn't got a great win ratio and hasn't won anything in 13 years as a coach and delivers a very poor spectacle to watch.......I find it really hard to believe that any other club wold give him a job after Fremantle

I watch a lot of games.
There are plenty of other games that don’t involve Fremantle which aren’t much of a spectacle. The ones which are good to watch for the whole game are very few. It’s the state of the current game....keep it off and surge.

I have no idea how much he or any other coach is paid, and someone else or a Board would decide how much he’s worth. If it was based on last weeks coaching, maybe a bag of rice and a bottle of water.

There's every chance Longmire will stay at Sydney, whereas North are raving about Rhyce Shaw, which interestingly enough, has a Sydney/RoLy style game plan focusing on defence (www.theage.com.au/sport/afl/the-shaw-eff...20190705-p524gx.html).

RoLy has stated in the pre-Derby press conference that he wants to stay in Perth to coach Freo, but my point in a previous post is that he's probably happy to entertain a longish term offer from anyone, including Carltank and Freo. (North and Sydney are settled for coaches I reckon)
