There's the problem Capt. We're always on the ropes when it comes to injuries. Possible exception being the first half of this season which shows that even though we were near full strength we had only won one more game than we lost.

When does the bloody penny drop??? Overuse injury after overuse injury but things still stay the same. The only thing overused and not injured is the continual spouting of clichés and excuses from those at the top (and to blame for this debacle) Sack the bludgers now and start again. Every week they stay in control is a week that we won't get back. Harvey was booted out the door for less.

In fairness to Peter Bell, I imagine you’d want to observe how things are carried out.
In this instance the time taken between the impact that caused the injury and definitive diagnosis with an MRI seems overlong, not withstanding the mid season break.

I'm surprised anyone would be surprised...?

We've run him into the ground, unnecessarily using him as a sole ruckman, when we had a perfectly decent Hodor running around in the 2's.

Someone will blame it on a kick in one of the latter games, but our best marking - and perhaps straightest kicking - tall forward, has been playing a position that was always going to place undue pressure on him.

We've lost Sandy mid way through both of the last few seasons for exactly the same ' sole rucking ' reason. Of all the clubs who should know how unsustainable it is to expect a 2m tall bloke to sole ruck for a season...it should be us.

Stupendous!

But typical.....
