I think you're reading into his emotional response shane. He had to wait, on his words, about 30 minutes for the integrity officer to get his membership details and he was on his way. I'm not sure about the 'interrogation' bit or where you got that from. Perhaps you took a different view of his 3AW call, but he didn't sound humiliated to me, just angry.
I think it's completely unacceptable behaviour as a fan to run from two blocks away to abuse an umpire as he or she walks from the ground, and I think it's entirely reasonable he was ejected from the ground.
I think it's a great shame that an umpire has to be left shaken by fan behaviour, and that people think that's acceptable and you would go a step further to say 'he's a flog' for reacting in a very human way to that sort of behaviour. I can't imagine why anyone would let their kids go into umpiring if the consensus view is that unless the turn the other cheek to that sort of intimidation they are weak.
But like I said, I think everyone has a view on what is and isn't acceptable fan behaviour, and how life-shattering missing a second half is, and I think in this instance we'll just have to agree to disagree.
