So it seems the general consensus is that Bennel comes in, Switta stays, no room for Cerra, so Bewley the one to go. Barring injury that is.

Harley is purely a finisher and needs to play out of the goal square and keep within the forward 50
He is not a tackler like switta or brayshaw , just get it out to him and he will kick the goals (good luck to a defender caught one on one in the fwd 50)
Hope Roly plays him this weekend at the G, he will kick at least 4
Ps Raglan, Balla`s only got into the game for about 5 mins in the last quarter and apart from that didnt fire a shot and looking ahead to the future Schultz has gone ahead of him
Does he get a farewell game later this year , who knows

So 29yo Stephen Hill spends almost a year battling muscle injuries and is instantly thrown back into the side but the excuse for Harley not getting a gig after 3 successful and impactful games at Peel is "I saw the highlights, they looked pretty good. We'd like a bit more body of work and conditioning"?

That doesn't make sense. Give him a run and let him earn a contract extension. He's the most talented player on the list and should be in the AFL if not injured.

Hill hasn't spent three years tearing calf muscles and has been incredibly resilient over a decade. You saw Hill hit his straps in the last quarter.

Bennell plays he runs 12km. A bet he's not doing that for Peel right now. Let him build. Or play him out the goal square.

Like everyone I would like to see Harley in the bigs, the Peel games have me sweating every week and it's doing my nerves in.

Yes, his form looks fantastic - he is a rare talent - but that Bulldog bloke chasing him in that clip is Higgins, the SF ruck. I'd be hoping that some more games in the magoos will build some speed and endurance without risk - but if he's on the edge, get him into the 22 at Optus and let him go off with a bang.

I’m hoping after all the calf trouble Harley’s been through they now know pretty well what the problem was and how to now manage him. I expect the club would be as keen to see him play as all of us and are doing what the medicos suggest is best.

You have a lot more faith in the coaches, selectors and medical staff than I do, Noddy. Not sure what you see that I don't.

Get Bennell into the forward 50, he doesn't have to work as hard in the Freo 50 compared to what he is expected to do at Peel, so less risk of him breaking down for Freo. Bring him in for Matera.

What I see is a bloke with a very troublesome injury and a club doing their utmost to get him back playing at the elite level. There’s a gulf between playing WAFL and AFL.

It’s far fetched to think the FFC coaches and staff aren’t across medical rehab when you objectively look at other clubs as a comparison.

Blaming medicos for oversights in an environment of so many variables is like suggesting no one should go into hospital and expect nothing will go wrong....it can and unfortunately sometimes does.....out of the control of the best.
