We were definitely more willing to take the corridor today, and it was very entertaining. And in the last quarter for the first time in a long long time there was some genuine excitement in the crowd.
My vote for play of the day came in the last quarter when Brissie had their best scoring chance and Hughes and a Brissie player were going for the ball. Hughes just overran the ball and hit the guy hard, providing a brilliant shepherd to Wilson or Hamling or whoever it was who ended up with the ball.
Its great to have Blakely back.
Hill was back to his best.
Lobb. Wow.
Great to see Cox marking and goaling.
But yeah, we do still look like a 10th on the ladder side.
