If anyone is to be booed it should be directed towards those that put him in a position where he wanted to leave.

Yeah, I've thought long and hard on this - and have expressed opinions a number of times. But I've changed my view after the last three losses - especially the way we've played those three games.

The other thing that's changed my mind is the stupid and constant booing that comes across on the tv broadcasts of That Other Mob's games outta Optus - those knobs want to influence the game, and do.

I'm not one of them, never will be. Good luck Lachie, I get why you had to leave.

I mean, you're assuming there will be an opportunity to boo him. He might not even get a possession.

before you even get to that question there is the threshold issue: can you even be bothered going to watch given the crap dished up over the last three rounds?

Honestly wouldn't be surprised if the crowd is only around the 20K mark...

Last year I bought a cheap seat on the day, above the Brisbane cheer squad where there was naturally a good atmosphere.
I admired a rebuilt team with a decent spine playing good football.
It wasn't Fremantle.
Why can't we play like that? I wondered. On that day Lachie was good but had no-one to kick to.

Today, we all know full well why we can't play like that and it's not about players. So why go?
Well, this season's cheap seats may be slightly less cheap and a little to one side, but they're still good value and available on the day, the baked potatoes are good, and I want to see how Lachie fits into a working midfield.

There will be no booing from me, rather reminiscing over what might have been.

As ever, I hope to be proved wrong.

With all the other solidly carp things going on in the world and at our footy club, this is your high-priority question.

Wish I was you, NPK.

As he may expect to be booed, it may, just may put him off if we don't and even give him a cheer. Maybe. I don't want to be like them up the road.

Mushroom,

Neale is an issue. Bottom line is he left the mess instead of being one of the leaders who could have changed things. If we all took his lead we should all cancel our memberships and join the eagles.
I say BOO him. I know it’s juvenile but he took the more money and left out midfield in the crap.

Life's too short for booing.
Besides which, I can't boo the bloke if I'm boycotting the game.

It's not his fault he left the place that is a mess. He gave plenty while he was here and why should he feel obliged to stay when he is happier and getting paid more at his new club.

Would you hang around a workplace with a boss you don't get on or agree with because someone expected you to drag the company out of a hole? Particularly if someone said to come and check a rival company and see how you feel about joining them for more money, better results and a harmonious work site.

and he could see nothing would have changed no matter what he did as we did only have pick 86 before he left
