The Betts non holding the ball decision aside, I thought the umpires contributed greatly to the nature of the game, it was a high pressure game of football with both teams applying extreme pressure to the player with the ball. If the umpires had paid a few more frees when they were there it would have opened up a bit.
Our players should learn from this, we are attempting to move the ball quickly, we need to learn to execute and stay composed when this pressure is brought.
Our average losing margin against the Crows in Adelaide has been close to ten goals surely this represents improvement.
