You have to admire the discipline being shown by Freo on the field tonight.
They are showing magnificent persistence in sticking to the game plan of bombing it in to the forward 50 and watching the weasles take it right back out again. Apart from Tabs mark, every other bomb into the forward 50 has resulted in the weasles either killing the ball or taking an intercept mark.
Then at the other end we give JK space to run into to take a series of uncontested marks....again.
I mean, I know that this is how we lost the last 7 derbies but surely it will work this time?
It's very comforting to the master coach at the top of his game, coaching better than he ever has because the complete lack of reaction to the weasles last 7 wins must be some kind of a masterstroke. No other coach would have gone there.
