Yep bags.

why do some people have to carry backpacks big enough for an Antarctic expedition to attend a game of footy for 3 hours. How much food, beverage, household appliances and clothing do you need for 3 hours of footy.

Slows my entry to the game and cuts into my pregame drinking time so this is a big issue.

I don't take a bag myself but I feel like FDB probably has to accessorise with the fancy hats.

But the shouty bloke on one of the gates seems to be doing a good job of keeping the bag people in the bag lane this season. You really do need to shout an awful lot at some people before they will stand in the right place.

I refuse to buy the crap food there so prepare food for me and the 3 tin lids.

Each tin lid has to take their own bag instead of me taking the Antarctic bag each game so shoot me now.

And before you all have ago at being frugal, they each get 10 bucks to spend on whatever they want and believe me that's not a great deal.

At my gate they've done away with the 'no bags' zip straight through lane - which is stupid, you can't ram with speed into the back of some fool trying to work out which side of the card to scan.

I always figured those bulging napsacks were full of - how can I put this politely - 'wee fellas' wanting to sneak in for a free seat. If I knew where that bloke with the three probably not so little tackers are chowing down with their footy banquet every game I'd get over for a snack.

I was impressed with the thoroughness of the bag search last weekend. Usually they just undo the zip and pretend to have a look while I walk in with ten kilos of anfo. Being white has it’s advantages.
