I'm a bid advocate for treating mental health issues properly but when you talk like that, and you don't address things honestly, and you tell other people not to talk about it because mental health is a big mystery that needs to be tip toed around, rather than using it as an opportunity to educate people on the way they should talk about it, you're using it as another form of a NDA.
"We can't talk about it because it's mental health" is the wrong way to make things better. It just perpetuates the stigma around it.
