This kid highlights look good. I didn’t know much about him until today and though I was surprised we passed up on I. Hill I’m hopeful the draft guys have done their due diligence and made the right choice. Time will tell.

I think it's great we picked up another player with elite foot skills after getting Cerra last year. The kicks he was hitting in the video on the 45 and into the forward line, putting the ball in just the right spot, were great. His hands were quick and accurate too.

The thing that has me particularly excited is the fact that he combines this with athleticism. Personally I would love to see them develop him as a half forward and then move him into the mids like they did with Fyfe. But he lacks endurance which will mean this takes a a few preseasons.

That blog is gold Jezza. It literally says that Fyfe was no good in 1 on 1's. In 2015 he was winning 60% on his contests 1 on 1, Gerald Healy was gushing about this weekly on the couch. Sturt has a better kick I think but less endurance. Will be interesting.

He`s never done a preseason, having spent summers playing cricket so theres upside aplenty.

From the small amount of video Ive seen, the guy can kick.

Full marks to Freo on this one. I think he will be a long term keeper and the perfect size to mix it up in the Valley of the Giants. He was genuinely happy to come to Freo you could tell, thats a plus. Hugh Dixon, Cox and McCarthy not sleeping tonight as well as usual.
