Okay, I don't like the negatives Sturt is getting already. I wanted Stephenson last year and still wish we had got him but I wasn't chucking a sad over it. Give the guy a go. One thing's for sure he doesn't seem to be a Sheridan/Sutcliffe?Tucker type run of the mill player.
I also wonder why Ian Hill has slipped so far. What are we and other clubs seeing that maybe we're not? How bad are his shoulders? He didn't actually play much footy this year.

Ddocker - yep too early to bag him. My concern isn’t so much his potential but rather how does he fit into the team. We’ve gone from famine to flood with tall forwards at a time when the game is being driven by speed and agility. Good luck to him but who missed out and who replaces the 40 possessions a game that we lost with LN.

Edit: thanks for your earlier post CA. Goes a long way to addressing the above concerns around speed and agility. Good to hear!

A 3 minute vid isn't much to go on but Sturt looks bloody good and seems to play more like an opportunist small forward who can take a mark. That means he will compete with Ballas and Matera and Switkowski who overtook Matera anyway.
