The Indian guy up the street went out around dinner time and was honking the horn on his family van. I was out for a walk with the dog and when we went past his place he started fist pumping the air. Odd bloke - so I guess there must have been some sort of cricket match on and they won.

Anyway, he told me that the Cricket Australia bloke who signed up Foxtel was sacked due to the lack of eyeballs on the cricket broadcast and the lack of bums on the seats following the first Optus Stadium one day game here in Perth.

Seems Cricket Australia want all of Australia watching their games and lots of us walking through the gates. Unfortunately, they have employed idiots who have no idea how to achieve that.

How long is the Foxtel contract? Three or five years?

Why would anyone go to cricket when is on live on TV.
Mate's went and paid $30 for a seat in the sunny end, with the intention of looking for a seat in the shade at the other end where there was plenty of seats which would of cost them $70.
Lower the prices with kids free, first in get the good seats and don't be so greedy.

The Big Bash is going to be huge at the Stadium. The mums and kiddies will love it.
