Our win/loss will have very little do with the fixtures and a lot to do with the fitness and form of Fyfe, Sandilands, S Hill, Walters, Hogan, Lobb and McCarthy and whether Bradshaw, Cerra and A Pearce come on.

Well 66, I didn't say they are all the same temperatures, that would be incorrect as you have shown with your amazing stats..I simply stated that all states are hot in summer. That is a fact. Tassie may still be the exception. The point is the heat stress on all players should be avoided as far as possible.
And Jezza, you seem to have also missed the point entirely. I thought it obvious that heat affects players' performance and potentially their health and recovery. And if you have played in the heat, as you suggest, then I think you may understand what I am saying. And I am sure there are some of you who will be thinking..."get over it princess"...or "toughen up sunshine"...etc... Just because some of us played in the heat and we are ok...doesn't mean it is a good thing.

expat, our first game (Rnd 1) 25 years ago was away against Richmond at the MCG. We wore the green jumper and Todd Ridley kicked our first goal. I watched this at the old jail on a big screen with a couple of hundred foundation members and supporters. PS we were not inmates!
