The thing I've noticed is the narrative thats being promulgated where Freo is holding up all the other clubs by not agreeing to Brisbane's first offer. It's being endorsed by the so called' experts' with few exceptions and it is utter nonsense at best.
Brisbane have offered pick 5 and have stated the view that pick 5 should be enough and why should they offer more?
Then you have even more nonsense that May and Hogan trades can't be done cause Freo is holding everybody up.
Well, if any club wants May, they can pony up their own resources. Freo isn't any part of that. Hogan hasn't requested a trade, so how we are holding that up escapes me but then I guess I'm no 'expert'. As for Neale, its all down to Brisbane. If they want him badly enough then they'll pay the going rate. If he's not worth it to them, they should say so and walk away. He's under contract for next year anyway and I'd rather keep him, personally. So would Bell.
There is pressure being ramped up on Freo to bend and do a trade and those monkeys can scream and swing on all the branches that they want. I would hope Freo doesn't bend and I doubt that Bell will.
Its annoying though when you look at the concerted efforts being applied to suit an East Coast narrative. We owe those monkeys nothing. It's time they learned that.
