Seriously you don’t know why he picks wc !
The guy played against us in the 2nd last round where freo put up one of the worst performance in historical records.
You got to be kidding why would you not choose a successful well run organisation to play for. Unless freo were prepared to pay considerably more and I mean seriously after tax more and I was being courted by a club that plays finals consistently, wc would win every time . And I love this club and not just with words but serious sponsors money. We are stuck with a 3 year deal , and my superiors have questioned my judgement on that sponsors deal!!

Just announced that Gaff is staying at West Coast having knocked back 8 mill at Kangaroos. Surely that puts Fremantle in the box seat to get Kelly because they (WC) have reduced salary cap space to pay Kelly what he's worth and they also don't have the Gaff compensation pick to package up in a trade deal.

If Kelly is definite about not going to Freo, he may stay another year with Geelong.

I'm not sure that wc can cover for the loss of Lycett and deal with Geelong on Kelly. No natanui so they need a ruckman most i think

If we can secure Kelly and Hogan that would be a fantastic trade period. We would most likely have to pass on R Lobb as we don't have an immediate need to boost ruck stocks, whereas WC do. Mitch Duncan is also in the gunsights apparently but I am not in a position to even guess what the trade may be to get him as well. Can't have them all I suppose. We may have some players with trade currency that can be moved on to another club to get deals done. It all starts tomorrow, will be intriguing to see it unfold.

Wellingham and Headland similar situations, brilliant Premiership players in amongst midfields filled with stars and didn't pick up the tags that they received at Weagles and Freo where expected to be frontliners.in amongst lesser lights. I'd be passing on Kelly I'm afraid with the asking price at the moment.
