Can you realistically see Roly even seeing out his current contract based on performance? TBH I can't.

At best he may last his current contract but no way should he be getting any kind of extension. The results of the last 3 years provide more than ample evidence that he isn't up for the job.

Personally, I think he's done some time next season. If he gets another extension based on this mythical rebuild then the WAFC would have to step in because Freo's value would plummet

I've long felt what has been happening on the field, reflects what happens off it. The list we have and the way they get it to play are all symptoms of the decision made off the field. The Geelong disaster would not be tolerated at many clubs. At Freo, they're 'working through it and moving on'.

The Board and supporters will not tolerate uncompetitive games next year. If we get belted early on changes will happen and both Rosich and Lyon will be made accountable.

I think Lyon knows how to coach, but ultimately you’re judged on wins.

Hypen, if Nesbitt played a big part in the Slime’s cultural problems in 2005-2007, and on evidence should have been made accountable, then we wouldn’t be wallowing in what’s transpired since. I don’t think our cultural problems have sunk to the depth of the Slime but I’m not to sure if our on field dramas can be solely put on the shoulders of Rosich and Roly. Like I’ve mentioned before there’s only one successful team every year. Unfortunately we’re living the nightmare of last week.

Jezza, I take your point. But Nesbitt, Worsfold and Gepp struggled with a different set of issues. From where I stand the people around Lyon and Rosich are disengaged. That happens when you are managed by bullies and alpha types.

Its a bit harsh to say we weren't one of the 6 in 2015 RM. But for Fyfe's broken leg and an injured Lukey Mac missing the PF we could well have played in the GF that year. Interestingly, had we beaten the Hawks in that PF it would have been a Dockers/Eagles GF. And I'm sure everyone remembers the heroic effort the umps put in that year to ensure that a Vic side played in the GF. Remember the "fourth umpire" congratulating the other umps for a great decision and for "being all over the Ballantyne stuff".
