As Jakovich would say, I don’t want to open up an old can of wounds, but the issue was never the aesthetic of the jumper. It was the decision to change the jumper without consulting the members or even attempting to bring those wedded to the old jumper along for the ride.
Even if you think it was the right decision, it’s still possible to make the right decision the wrong way.
I’m with CA. The old Purple Haze jumper was a great compromise position, and personally I would have kept the red and green for a clash jumper. But I’m not paid to run the club into mediocrity, so i don’t suppose my opinion counts for much.
