While Bell might be keen on Fremantle, I'm of the opinion we should look around at some of the experience available and try to bring that to the club.

There are a number of former head coaches around, with experience at several clubs that could well fit the role and bring in fresh ideas to add to the club. Blokes like Sanderson or Bolton for example could add to the club. There is a wealth of experience in the world of AFL and we should do our best to tap into as much of it as we can

I'm in the minority here but I'm not really a fan of Bell in this position. He's a right hand man for Rosich and co on the board and has gone on record as hating the old jumper, colours etc and wanting everything about the club changed and made OOFTIT like.

I would much prefer we go outside the club to fill these positions than just handing them to the board and CEO. I guess it takes too much time to find another puppet who will go along with the status quo.

I agree we should look outside the club but I'm looking at it from the point of view of bringing fresh ideas and perhaps improving the way we do things. Staying within the closed circle of the club is invariably limiting.

We have an opportunity here to access experience and I think we should take the decision very carefully.
