Trading Neale would be Freo’s worst deal since the Tarrant & Croad deal. We got bend over. Enough said. We’ve got pick 5 plus Brayshaw and Cerra and Logue( if he ever gets on the park). What’s with this rebuild. How many top 10 draft picks do we need. It hasn’t done Carlton, Brisbane, Suns and GWS any good to date, and unlikely in the foreseeable future.

Out of that list of #4 draft picks it's a mixed bag. Bontempelli and Oliver are stars, Pickett has struggled with injury and form, Toumpas has just been delisted and it's too early to call on the other two.

Story seems plausible to me.
Brisbane reportedly going to lose Beams, it would be fair to say that Neale is a like for like replacement possible upgrade for them.
We are sorely lacking draft picks in the middle of a rebuild seriously in need of adding genuine class to our forwards. Brisbane would be confident in their big forward prospects and this years draft apparently has some exciting forwards.
I don’t see that this means Neale is upset with the club or that the club has mismanaged anything. At this time of year all prospects are thrown into contention. Brisbane call Fremantle, Fremantle calls Neale to say they have expressed interest do you mind if we have a conversation.
Beams went to Brisbane for pick 5 & 25 surely this becomes a starting point and we are seriously back in this years draft.
I love Neale and think he is one of the most under rated players in the league. Scott said the other day though even Dangerfield isn’t untradeable.

My main concern is Rosich as list manager? Say what? Surely he will not have a say in recruitment? I mean a realistic opinion of the worth of players? Not Rosich...I can hear a gurgling sound.

Pick 4 is not enough, it’s a given that GC will have picks 2&3 (compo for Lynch) and are a real possibility of losing May as well, they could well pick up both King brothers as bookends, talk is also that Carlton may trade pick 1 for McGovern (massive overs but they are a basket case so may we’ll do it) which means the crows would have first chance at Lydouck (spelling) so we’d lose Neale and not get the tall we need!
