Well Yeti that's probably a 3 or 4 part question and first off their is absolutely no way that Ballas or maybe Pearce have any part in our future despite their loyal service. Also while we are at it it's worth noting that we are short about 8 from our best 22 including half our backline in Hamling, Blakely and Ryan which no doubt had something to do with Saturday's debacle. Sandi and Mundy are superstars of the comp however Darcy has shown that he has the ability to match it with the best and some of our young midfielders will have to step into the hole left by Mundy. We also have a good crop of talls in the forward line in Taberner, Cox, Apeness and Dixon so it's not all doom and gloom if these guys can all get on the park on a consistent basis.
As for the 2019 and 2020 forecasts they do fit with Roly's timespan with ongoing development of the playing group. At times they have looked very good and my biggest problem with Roly is the fact that I would like to see him let the younger guys take on the game and be more attacking like Brisbane.
I'm not necessarily saying don't sack him but we must do it with our eyes open and a solid plan for the future and not just a knee jerk reaction. We only have to look at Carlton, St Kilda and Gold coast to see where that leads and we don't want to regret these actions down the track.
