I'm not sure I heard this correctly, but I think I just heard Ross Lyon say on Ch 7 that he gave 4 votes to Gaff at the end of the game.

Did anyone else hear this?

If it is true, I don't know what he is thinking.

Up till now, I've thought, let the coaches do the coaching, but if he DID give 4 votes to Gaff for that game, I don't want him coaching our team, I know they are not fairest and best votes but for goodness sake, it is a GAME with RULES and it is meant to be played FAIRLY.

I am not getting carried away.

I was stating my opinion.

It is reasonable for me to expect that the coach of the football team all generations of my family support should have a clear idea of what things make a vote-attracting performance for a player in a game.

This game helps form the character of so many Australian kids. That Ross chose to ignore the thuggish act of violence by Gaff shows that, as well as not being a very good coach, he doesn't understand the bigger picture of AFL.

Gaff done the crime and he’s going to do his time. Like I said, in my opinion I wouldn’t have given Gaff the time of day but Roly, as a coach, thought he was the second best player behind Yeo. As far as Roly not being a good coach, we all have our opinions.
