Not sure I want Bennell in next week as I didn't get tickets and want to be there when he gets a game.

Didn't realise we didn't get 'priority' and when I did it kept coming up single seats only available. I guess a lot of those non eagle members beat me too it - they did after all get 57,600 odd at the Richmond game so it was to be expected so not real happy we no longer get priority but then again I preferred going up to Darwin for an away game than an egls derby!

Was at the game today and I thought stranadica put his hand up for a debut. Rucked well and took good marks.
Tabs was fine but a long way from afl. Maybe 2 more weeks. Bennell , mmm, he played well at times and got a fantastic goal but seemed to lack confidence in his body.
Crowden started like a house on fire then completely fizzled out after half time. Cam really tried but is simply slow and not agile.
Brady grey played 4 qtrs and is nearing a return. Pearce got better in the second half.

Yeah, it seems as though his ticket has been punched for some time. He seems to be everything that's needed, he takes the marks, he kicks the goals he does impressively in the ruck but you reckon he's going to be cut at the end of the year. Odd, I don't get it sometimes - Houghton was the same a few years back, so was Sibosado (who got one game, the last one of the year, kicked a couple of goals and then was cut).

they are different sort of players. I have only see Jones play so cant comment on him but he is younger and I would think no where near his capacity yet. If they see upside I would expect him to get an extension and if not played this year then next.

Both our ruckman are boys, sure they look like big men but they have so much to learn and so much upside. One area we are sweet in for the future. Throw Fyfe, Blakeley, Bennell, Taberner and Grey into todays team and the result would have been a lot different. Despite todays result I can see a way forward, just want this season over, fast!

Nah, swap Matera, Tucker, Cox, Sheridan and Sutcliffe for the aforementioned and the game would have been a more even contest and that's when scoreboard pressure and crowd energy changes the whole dynamic.
