Ok... so there's a couple of interpretations you could throw at this travesty of justice;

i) the umpire saw the incident and decided to ignore the striking action from Natanui and pay the non existent punch from Bellchambers instead,

ii) the umpire was unsighted and paid a free based on a guess.

Either way it's either incompetent umpiring or it's bent like a paperclip.

I agree Morgan - he was a really nice kid when he played colts with the Black Ducks. Friendly, happy and really easy to have a chat with. When he was drafted i bumped into him outside Subi one afternoon and i stopped for a chat - at the end of it i warned him about Those Other Guys and about how they were all knobs. He laughed at the time and said he would never change.

What a farce. Take it to the tribunal. If there was ever a case of insufficient force to constitute striking, this is it. Go to the tribunal and make a mockery of Natainui's terrible acting by showing it over and over in slow motion from all available angles. Then make a 13 part Netflix doco about it like The Staircase.
