I can see no evidence of a rebuild, we have lost players through natural attrition, and a couple who got kicked out, and replaced them. If we had of been through a rebuild, Pearce, Balla's, Johnno and co would've been gone 3 or 4 years ago. Rebuild is Lyon/Bond speak for "we stuffed up the drafting and game plan a couple of years ago what can we use as an excuse?"

Apeness looks a forward/back up ruckman to me
Cox can go forward and play back
Taberner plays CHF/wing

I would actually like to see a few games with Sandi and Hodor both playing as part of Hodor's development. Pretty sure than one to enhance his development is giving him a run a second ruckman with Sandi showing him the way.

Sure we can't afford that every game but we can surely give him a run at the top level as part of any rebuild.

As for trading him for a mid thats nuts. Hodor in the middle will be our long term future. Besides, as the years go by, mids are way easier to find and develop than good ruckmen and Hodor is just that, a good ruckman in development. You just don't throw away talent of that calibre.
