I guess I am like most genuine Docker supporters who take a lot from winning when not expected.
Imagine a new world heading into September. The Dockers are playing the final qualifying game of the year at Optus against Collingwood and if they win, will make a surprise entry into the top eight. Their injury list has cleared and players are in form. Bennell is playing his 6th straight game which included a match winning 6 goals against the Eagles. In the same game, Sandy was suspended for 3 weeks for breaking 3 of Natanui's ribs in a ruck contest and for catching Luke Shuey high which broke his jaw. Sandy is now fresh as a daisy and fired up and ready to go. Darcy was outstanding during Sandi's rest. Fyfe is leading all media awards and also the AFLCA by 15 votes. Cox and Taberner have been averaging 6 goals a game between them for the last month, whilst Cerra is red hot favourite to win the Rising Star. Unfortunately the Eagles early season form has deserted them and they are sitting in 5th place and may face the Dockers in the first week of the finals.
The Dockers team for this week is as follows.
Backs: Ryan Pearce Logue
Half backs Banfield Hambling Wilson
Centre line Langdon Fyfe B Hill
Half Fwd Cerra Taberner Bennell
Forwards Mundy Cox Walters
Ruck Sandilands Blakely Neale
Bench Hill Brayshaw Darcy Tucker
It has also been noted that President Trump is being impeached for lying to Congress, Kim Jong Un and most of the free world.
