It should be amongst other significant figures at the MCG. The fact that he comes from WA is a tenuous reason to have it there. If the AFL is serious about this statue being a statement of the importance of this event then give it maximum recognition . They wouldn’t think of putting Jesaulenko’s statue in Canberra were he grew up (or Austria where he was born)

One suggestion re the final statue - less of what looks like a smile on the face and more of a determined in your face expression, as per the photo.

I couldn't remember a smile either so I googled it. Up came a whole bunch of shots, some with the smile and some without - looks to me like the photographer used a motor drive and cranked off a series of pictures.

Shane was right however, all of the shots have Nicky's right nipple exposed.

Well that's more an aureola issue, which pertains more to colour (or at least shading) than anything else.

The erectile tissue is proud and firm, and beautifully rendered. Unfortunately the statue is monochrome, while Nicky's aureola to boob contrast ratio (or ABCR) is quite breathtaking.

If you're at work, don't google any of that.
