Thought Roly was older than that.

But if you're talking about Brayshaw, it still doesn't change my perception of him. He will be solid player for us.

But Hypen, I'd be more than happy for you to rub this in my face in the future if he turns out to be a bloody champion.

Time for a board clean out but we are to blame.

We marched and lobbied for members elected board members. Eventually we got 2. Initially we voted in regular people then ex captains put themselves up and we voted for them instead. The MOB board members are no different to the WAFC appointed members we sold out our fight.

The last couple of board appointed, nets haven't even had an election as no one will challenge tge ex captain status quo as you get smashed by the supporters. Aka us.

So if you want to put your money where your mouth is when a supporter puts themselves up against a captain vote fir them. They might just give a different point of view to the current echo chamber. Don't fall for the cult of celebrity.

Then again it's Pavs turn next so good luck to however stands against him tge lemmings will vote for him regardless.

Brayshaw is just fine. He slots straight in but should bet better with experience. I wish Logue could be injury free - far from a natural footballer but an awesome athlete.

Brayshaw isn't tge problem. He is a tough in an under midfielder who is doing more than most 18 year olds playing in the AFL. Give the guy a break.

Okay as i said, i'll be more than happy to eat humble pie. Suppose I'm underrating the value of a solid in and under player, and every side needs them.
Never thought he was a problem, just not a number two draft pick solution.

The point is you can't judge this kid yet on what he is now.

Corporal to say in relation to Brayshaw 'No other teams had him as a top 10 pick. You just don't give up a number 2 draft pick for that sort of player when you can pick them up much lower in the draft.' is so wrong. The school of thought during draft week was that Brisbane were contemplating using their number 1 pick on him, he was top ten and suddenly became a draft bolder, so he was clearly highly rated by other teams.

To paraphrase other Dockerlanders, it is very harsh to be picking on an 18 year old kid 9 games into his career. Give him a break. Roly on the other hand.......

The scoreboard shows we got smashed. I didn't watch it and cringe. I see something building. I hate the criticism of Bradshaw and Crowden on this thread. They will be more than good. Our backs are fantastic, midfield also. We will sort the forwards issue. We are seriously deprived of a marking target obviously. Tabs and Kersten back, pressure off McCarthy, Hill brothers back and hitting lead-up forwards, confidence builds - win. Just call me Jezza.

Yes much too early to call on Brayshaw. People saying he will only be a Lachie Neale type ie one of the best midfielders in the comp!!?. Hes 18 and played his best game for the club just last week where he showed great poise and decision making, something some of our supposed better players dont always do. He should be a 10 year plus player, hopefully at the Dockers.
Brayshaw, Cerra and particularly Crowden all hit the wall tonight, which is to be totally expected. Cant believe they lasted this long.
As Lyon said though, due to injury, not much he can do in respect of bringing in anyone else just yet. I suspect Crowden will have the rest and they may bring in Giro. Otherwise Sutcliffe, T Train and D Pearce need to be used for a week or two to give these guys a break.

Hypen, there’s no disputing he is 18 years of age and I for one think he will be an above average player with a long career. My earlier point was not a rip at his potential but rather the puck used to get him. Number two for crying out loud! Second best option in the country - really?

As others have said he was the bolter in the lead up to the draft - all this talk of him not being in the top 10 reckoning is rubbish. The consensus going into the draft was that he could go anywhere in the top half dozen.

He is the youngest player in his draft year. He’s also showed more than the bloke taken ahead of him but I haven’t seen anybody asking Brisbane why they used pick 1 on Rayner.
