It’s clear that we need to blood new players as we say farewell to some great servants of the club.

Ballas (that late goal doesn’t change my mind), AA Johnno and dare I say it, Barra, should be looked at sitting out next week and bring in Giro, Kersten (he wasn’t the worst for Peel today down back) and maybe North.

We might as well get a look at these kids coz I doubt more than one of the older guys I mentioned earlier will be there next year.

When your senior players can’t hit straight forward targets under minimal pressure I’m not sure how that helps the team going forward. I’d rather see a newbie making those sort of mistakes.

The marking of Brennan Cox the only real positive to come out of the game. Play him closer to goal full forward and have Cam MacCarthy play up the ground more.

I sit through every game, I'm not sure I can shake my head and stare at my feet anymore than I have over the last couple of years. But tonight was bad, it hurt a lot - I think I need new shoes.

I wonder when the bell is going to be heard by my footy club - they simply have to offer up something better sometime.

The idea that Fremantle are a decent team at home and a terrible one away will be shot to pieces when they actually play a half decent team at home.

I am completely out of ideas for our forward line and am pretty sure the coaching panel are as well. I actually think we have run out of players to try up there. McCarthy hasn’t worked out at all, Ballantyne is all but finished, Matera is probably a decent 6th forward in a good team, Cox can mark but is slow at everything else. Walters is good but pushes up the ground alot and is hungry. On the list, Apeness is not a footballer and Dixon is years away. Fyfe would be okay up front but his set shots are really pretty poor. Mundy is fighting time. Taberner is our only hope and there is no long term evidence he will make it.
I suppose you could argue that things can change pretty quickly in footy but unless we can recruit a ready made forward, which has proven all but impossible, or Dixon is a gun, i am of the opinion that the ‘rebuild’ is an utter furphy. I see years ahead in the bottom eight for Fremantle. The talent, present and future, just isn’t there.

If I could make a long term bet, I'd say we'll be pretty good in 2020. But its a long time to wait.
Clearly we got our squad age structure seriously wrong. We need to make sure this doesn't happen again. Its no fun spending years in the wilderness.

This being my last post, as most of them are deleted for some reason, probably because I am not in Shane's inner circle. I would just like to say I am now in the get rid of Ross brigade. Todays game was appalling. Lack of tackles, selfishness-Walters, lack of awareness, lack of spoiling, no apparent plan. Even Ross"s biggest supporter, Roos ,was critical of all aspects of the Dockers game. Who we would get, is anyone's guess ,as there are no obvious solutions and a virgin coach is a total punt.Best of luck!
I feel we are not far off success if we can get one power forward, a tackling coach, powerful recruits, a new CEO and a bit of MOJO!
I will still read and disagree with some of the posters, and agree with some more reasonable and obviously intelligent posters but why you do not allow others to put their views which are opposed to you, make me realise you are a total wanker and opinionated pisswit! That's your perogative.

Even if everything goes right over the next few years we will still lose Sandi, Mundy, Ballantyne, Johnson... We are also short two key forwards and a quality small forward. The future may turn out okay but I would take the bet it will go the other way.
Fremantle should find out what clubs are offering Lynch or Mcgovern and double it. There must be a ton of salary cap space on our list. Our only hope is to massively overpay and lure players.

We've recruited some decent cattle, but they all end up playing the same crap football. We currently have the brownlow favourite in out team. Throwing money at proven players isn't the answer.

You could stick Buddy in our forward line and we'd be no better. Besides, Lyon would play him as ruckman.

Our forward line is a disgrace. McCarthy is a umber 2 or 3 tall. Ballas is past it, mate ra is a fail. Walters is fine but needs to know his and his teammates limitations.

We need 2 talks and a small to be up with the top teams.

I hate those weagles but look at the toward structure Kennedy at number one, Darling now playing an execelkent 2 because he has the support then they have a number of small options and midfielders pushing up not back and Le Cras who plays tall for a small.

We have FUBArEd our forward line. We need Hogan, Lynch and a small good luck fitting that in our cap.

I think he is AFL standard he is lacking confidence as he is playing number one when that isn't his role. Not sure who would do it better Apeness can't do it at WAFL level and Strdanica was playing Peel ressies a few rounds ago. I would love to give him a go but don't want his confidence destroyed.

Oh and OK Chief I get as many deleted as posted it is just how it is here.
