Jezza i think most of us agree with playing the youth and also its only fair to make all the normal reasonable allowances for their age and conditioning. For example Brayshaw played a very good game last week then went missing against the Swans, The Owl looked good last week and couldnt even run this week, he needs a break, thats what you get when you play youth.
But heres where I dont agree with you. Give Roly Darling and Kennedy and yes we would be a bit better but before long they would be bereft of confidence, stop running to the right places and be as crap as our current forwards as they ran up and down the field, the ball was kicked over their heads or directly to their opponents or they simply just died of exhaustion and despair, running from back man to backman in a vain attempt to put pressure on in a vastly outnumbered forward line.
Im with you on the glass half full scenario, if Roly could make some simple changes to his game plan, we know he can coach much of the other stuff as his record stands up. This team wouldnt win the flag just yet but it could be playing patches of scintillating football and high scoring quarters. His current game plan is taking the joy out of playing for the players.
