No. Play him from the goalsquare. Then stay out of his way.

So if it's not the coaches that have him running up to the half back line every time the ball goes into the backline, shoot that clown on the fence in the forward pocket who yells out to him " Get down the ground and get yourself a kick ferr chrissakes McCarthy"

The only time we look like a footy team is when our midfielders get the ball and can get it forward straight away. The only problem is this is not our game plan so only happens when the ball is turned over forward of the centre.

We have to score off the rebound because the forwards need time to run up the ground so they can run back towards goals with the flight of the ball.

Good to see Sandy drift foward and actually hang on to a couple. Cox tried to make a contest and bring the ball to ground, but gets himself pushed out of position a bit too much. I’d like to see Kersten come back in and see if it works for him not having tabs as the lead up forward. Kersten takes a good mark and has a great lick just doesn’t get the ball enough.
