The ANZAC game at the G, will award a medal to the BOG. We’re jumping up and down about the RG medal and yes it’s been around a long time and yes there’s no Len Hall medal to commemorate the occasion but there should be. I have goosebumps every time they play the last post funnily RG just don’t cut it. And should they rekindle the medal next Derby perhaps it could be someone that epitomises the day.

That statement from the Club kinda puts the kybosh on the idea that the Club just didn't get around to organising anything. My guess is there has been argy-bargy going on between us and the ooftits for some time.

So glad they have stuck to their guns and will get rid of the Ross Gledinning name.

This has been handled so poorly by Rosich. Like he didn’t know the sponsorship was going to end till this week. He has had months and months to quietly achieve a resolution over the naming of the medal. For what it’s worth I agree with him- it should never have been called the Ross Glendinning medal. If the great satan over at the slime, Trevor Nisbett, can’t handle it then Freo should hand out th Pavlich medal in the rooms after the game.

It should be the Glendinning/Pavlich medal.

You know why it became the Ross Glendinning medal - because executives came up with it behind closed doors instead of getting the public involved.

This exactly the sort of thing that you throw out in the summer, explain why you want to change it and see how people react. Listen to the members and and try to build a loose consensus.

This is more evidence that Rosich reads Dockerland but he shouldn’t have to. They’ve made a mess of this situation. If they were trying to protect the Eagles and hide their intransigence , they should have made sure that the Eagles wouldn’t throw it back in their face.
