Sadly, parental duties tied me up on Sunday, and although I managed to sneak out for the game I was unable to add a couple of hours at the pub to the front end.
I'll be back at it for the Brisbane game.
Speaking of which, there are 5 games left, so I'm happy to take suggestions for venues. I've been waiting until the Matagarup Bridge is finished before trying most of the East Perth venues. I'll definitely give the Royal and Grosvenor a bash. I might stick my head into Gloucester Park out of curiosity. I'll try one of those new places down near Ku de Ta on the point near the Causeway.
Am I missing anything obvious? There's a few hotels around in East Perth; do any of them have decent bars?
