I am pretty much with Yeti on this one. Those three offer little moving forward. As much as it pains me to say it, I don't think that Ballantyne is in our best 22 either. He has been a great servant but his past couple of seasons didn't excite. It's either a rebuild or it's not. Would rather see others given the opportunity.

Not sure he has done anything wrong. But there is no way ross will admit he got the Pearce resigning wrong. Unfortunately the supporters will need to see a humiliation before he acts. That’s just the way he is. 3 more years of him. Yeah!

Stephen Hill, in a similar role, will make a similar amount of poor kicks but they are less poor (not necessarily less costly) so it doesn't stick in your head when you're wondering 'why do we keep getting belted each week'.

I am looking forward to seeing Mitch Crowden play. It will be hard for him to find a spot in the midfield but we are desperate for a resting pocket that can kick goals. If he can do that he will immediately go in front of Ballantyne and Matera, and give us more versatility. Was also hoping to see Tom North get a run but will have to wait. Not sure why Hughes seems to be on the outer as his contested marking is very good. I realise his decision making can be poor but it’s no worse than half the team.
Looking forward to the season but am tempered by the last half of 2017. Until I see otherwise I think we will finish bottom four.

I would be greatly disappointed if we're bottom four. If we don't win about 10-12 games this year I don't see how Roly would deserve to keep his job.
We've got a good draw, play a lot of games at home and our squad is fit overall. No more excuses.

And when they go right, they go right up in the air and usually right out of play. It is fun though watching everyone crane their neck to follow the flight of the ball off the boot. Always been a dud kick.
